Shareholder Communication Policy
Purpose
We at Talent2 are passionate about what we do. We want our shareholders to share that passion. We understand that our shareholders want information about what we do - not just documentation. We are committed to implementing effective and innovative ways of conveying that information to our shareholders.
- Talent2 has a implemented a shareholder communications strategy to:
- ensure effective communication with shareholders;
- provide shareholders with ready access to balanced and understandable information about the company and corporate proposals
- make it easy for shareholders to participate in Annual General Meetings (AGMs)
Scope
The Talent2 Shareholder Communications Policy is guided by:
- the ASX Corporate Governance Council’s Principles of Good Corporate Governance and Best Practice Recommendations
- recommendations by the Business Council of Australia and other similar bodies regarding more effective methods of shareholder communication
Methods of Communication
Talent2 regularly communicates information to shareholders through a range of forums, publications and online. These include:
- the Annual General Meeting
- transcripts of speeches
- the Annual Report
- Investor presentations
- disclosures to the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX)
- the company website
Materials available online
Talent2 maintains an investor relations section on its company website to assist with shareholder communication. The following investor and shareholder information is available on the company website:
- ASX announcements
- annual & financial reports (for last 3 years);
- Corporate Governance statement and supporting charters and policies Additional material relevant to shareholders is posted periodically
Innovative methods of communication
Talent2 recognises that:
- the information needs of shareholders, investors and other stakeholders are becoming increasingly sophisticated
- information needs to be conveyed with ever increasing speed
- different types of investors and shareholders have different degrees of access to technology. Talent2:
- monitors best practice in shareholder communications
- seeks out innovative communication options
- implements recommendations for alternative forms of communication as appropriate for a company of its size and breadth of shareholding. Paper communications continue. However shareholders can and are encouraged to now register on the company website to receive email notification of significant announcements. The AGM process is constantly monitored and reviewed and changes are made as necessary to ensure that it best serves the needs of shareholders.
